Come and listen to my counsel! Look, I am ready to pour out my spirit on you; I’m ready to tell you all I know. Proverbs 1:23
In this proverb, God’s wisdom is personified as a woman calling out from the street with an open invitation. God does not hide His truth or keep the answers to life a secret. He freely offers His wisdom to anyone willing to listen and receive it. But His invitation is about more than gaining wisdom or finding answers. He is inviting you to know Him.
You do not have to figure out this complicated world on your own. As you respond to His invitation, you begin to recognize His presence, experience His peace, and look to Him for direction in everyday moments.
Come. Listen. Receive. Know.
